What is a primer and why should I wear one?

A primer is a product that goes between clean hydrated skin and foundation to give the foundation something to adhere to and smooth skin texture. A primer should be used to increase makeup longevity, make the complexion appear smoother and to minimise skin texture. At jane iredale, our primers also offer skincare benefits.

 

Is this primer noncomedogenic?

Yes, tested for comedogenicity, it will not clog pores or break you out.

 

Do I use my moisturiser or primer first?

Moisturiser always goes first. Your primer is the last product you apply before foundation.

No, this product has no aroma and we do not use synthetic fragrances in any of our products.

 

Does it have SPF?

No, there is no SPF in any of our Smooth Affair Primers.
